Tails: The Backbone Preludes

What are the moments in life that make us who we are today?

In this narrative prologue to The Backbone, immerse yourself in the lives of Howard, a photography major experiencing college alongside his roommate, Larry. Clarissa, an heiress who will never be good enough for her father. Renee, who's confronting the lack of agency in her life. And Eli, a scientist beginning to question if what he is doing is really for the greater good.

Play it again and again. Character traits, branching dialogues, and randomized events open up new paths every time the stories are relived. Guide the four characters through formative moments in their lives in a dystopian Vancouver.

With a demo available, Tails: The Backbones Preludes, releases on the 2nd of February on Steam, and Epic Game store.

After defeating the Monster King, the hero Astelro kills the Human King, using his device to reverse the flow of time. Play through the story backwards, and discover the consequences of the actions Asterlo has come to regret. Will you get stuck in the past? Or will you be strong enough to live through your future?

Are you and I really seeing the world the same way?

Follow the story of two boys who ran away from home on their quests to go as far as they possibly can. After fainting from the sight of a dead deer on their journey, both wake up to parallel, but very different worlds. One sees a world of animals, the other of machines, but both worlds are the same, and the boys need each other to navigate their own perspective.

Play in co-op, as you cannot finish this game alone. Communicate on your sofa or online, to help the two boys reach the end of their journey.
