8 Hidden Indie Gems of November 2023

Welcome to my dive into November’s indie release schedule to find the games you might not know about, but really should.

The Talos Principle 2

A great sequel to the original Talos Principle, explore a mysterious island full of secrets as you debate with your fellow robot humans on the meaning of civilisation and existence.

The Talos Principle is out on Steam, Playstation, Xbox, and the Epic Games Store.

Thirsty Suitors

An eclectic mix of different game genres, follow Jala as she comes back to her hometown where she has to face the harshest trials. Her exes and extended family.

Thirsty suitors is out on Steam, Nintendo switch, Playstation, and Xbox.

The Invincible

Based on a sci-fi novel by Stanislaw Lem by the same name, In the Invincible, you find yourself playing as Yasna, a biologist caught in a space race as humanity tries to find new technology on the planet Regis III. But your expedition quickly turns into a search party for missing crew members, and the more you explore and learn about this planet, the more you realise humans were never meant to set foot on it.

The Invincible is out on Steam, Playstation, Xbox, Gog, and the Epic Games Store.

The Last Faith

A perfect blend of castlevania with a soulslike experience, fall into this bleak world, facing great bosses as you try and piece together its lore.

The Last Faith releases on the 15th of November on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Playstation, Xbox, and Gog.

American Arcadia

A great mix of the Truman show and the video game Inside, follow Trevor as he has to escape Arcadia, his home and a live reality tv show where lack of popularity leads to your death.

American Arcadia releases on the 15th of November on Steam.

The Muller Powell Principle

In this sci-fi tale, you find yourself through to another dimension, into a version of Earth where a research station has fallen apart. With no memory from the shock of travel, your only tool is an energy gun you appear to have made before you lost your memories, able to manipulate the energies of light, heat, particles, and gravity.

The Muller Powell Principle releases on the 16th of November on Steam.

In Stars and Time

A sweet looking game where a gang of adventurers go on a quest to defeat the awful King who froze everyone in time. But everytime, something kills the main character, and everytime, they wake up the day before the assault.

Can Siffron get out of this time loop and finally kill the King?

In Stars and Time releases on the 20th of November on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Playstation, and Gog.

Wordless

A beautiful meditative metroidvania with a unique battle system. Fly through the quiet world, fighting enemies and finding out what you are in this coloured space.

Wordless releases on the 21st of November on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Playstation, Xbox, and Gog.
