7 Hidden Indie Gems of November 2022

Welcome to the first half of my dive into November’s indie release schedule to find the games you might not know about, but really should.

How to Say Goodbye

How to Say Goodbye is a beautiful narrative puzzle game inspired by picture books. It tells the story of someone who has recently been turned into a ghost, lost in an unfamiliar world populated by disoriented spirits.

In this narrative puzzle game, move the decor to help the characters escape the liminal world in which they are lost. Help them on their quest to move on and escape from the grasp of a mysterious Wizard.

How to say goodbye releases on the 3rd of November on Steam.

This is Hell

Following the legacy of rage-games like Getting Over It, Jump King, and Pogostuck, This is Hell is a frustrating experience with difficult controls. Each of the 2 joysticks on your controller move his massive fists, and your goal is to reach the pearly gates above. What awaits you in eternal paradise?

This is hell releases on the 1st of November on Steam.

Space Tail

Space Tail is inspired by real events, when humans began their conquest of space by sending animals to the stars. It is a tribute to all the animals that paved the way for humans to go into space. Most of these animals - the first astronauts, did not survive the journey. This story tells of the adventures of a dog named Bea, who managed to beat the odds.

Space Tail releases on the 3rd of November on Steam and Nintendo Switch.

Ghost Song

Ghost song has you play as an unnamed, long dormant Deadsuit. In a gameplay experience not unlike that of indie darling Hollow Knight, you have no memories, just your weapon you will use explore winding caverns, acquire new abilities, and unearth this alien’s worlds buried secrets.

Combat will have you master a rhythm of slow and fasts attacks, with variety of modules to customize your suit and blaster.

Descend deep into the darkness—only then will you learn (or is it remember?) the truth.

Ghost song releases on the 3rd of November on Play Station and Steam.

The Entropy Center

Have you, like me, been waiting for portal 3 all these years?

Well portal 3 isn’t out yet, but entropy center is.

After an extinction level event has set the world ablaze, you are the last remaining human, trapped in a research facility. Accompanied by ASTRA, a chill AI companion who will guide you through tests and reheat your cups of tea, you will solve physics puzzles revolving around entropy, and find out exactly what the role of this facility was in Earth’s demise.

The entropy center releases on the 3rd of November on Play station and Steam.

RoboCo

RoboCo is a wholesome sandbox game about designing and building robots to serve the needs of squishy, hapless humans in the world of tomorrow!

Put your engineering skills to the test in our tricky, open-ended challenges. Build custom robots to complete tasks like delivering sandwiches to hungry diners, preparing a romantic dinner, and showing off your robot dance moves!

Using Steam’s built-in community workshop features, you can share your masterpieces with other robotics geniuses, or download others’ robots for inspiration and remixing!

Robo co releases on the 3rd of November on Steam.

AnglerFish

You arrive at your friend’s Bachelor party in your trusty schoolgirl uniform, ready to battle for the position of best man, but before you know it, horror arise from every corner.

The game only saves when you die. Every time you die, something changes. Every change is based on where and how you died. Go on an epic adventure only equipped with your trusted shotgun, your wit and your strong stomach for disturbing exploration. Can you survive a night at the bar, Anglerfish?

Anglerfish releases on the 10th of November on Steam.
