The Game Pad is based out of Jacksonville, Florida and was started by Marc “TGPMarc” Himmelwright as a way to produce content around the video games he loved and his special interest of collecting, restoring, and playing retro video games.
From that idea spawned The Game Pad Podcast in 2019, a show where Marc and his best friend Artavius could sit down and discuss the weekly developments in the gaming and pop culture industries as a way to connect to their respective communities.
Since then, the brand and reach of TGP has evolved and shaped into something much more than just a single podcast. Merch, live streams, videos, blogs, and content creator partners, TGP has grown beyond anyone’s expectations and continues to seek out creators and helps produce content to the best of everyone’s ability.
